Community-Based Work Experience Overview
The Community-Based Work Experience lesson is the final activity in the Pre-ETS toolkit. It gives students a chance to enter a real workplace and see how the skills they learned in class—like teamwork, problem-solving, and communication—are used on the job. This lesson works best when done right after the Workplace Readiness Skills (WRS) lessons, so students can connect what they learned to what they see and do at work.
